LUMINA Project – Veneto Region

PATRIZIA VOLPATO SRL is a partner in the “LUMINA” project submitted by the Luce in Veneto business network under the POR FESR 2021-2027 call, Action 1.1.1 “Strengthening research and innovation (in collaboration) between companies and research organisations”, DGR no. 729 of 26 June 2024. The project aims to create lighting fixtures at the forefront of design, technology and sustainability, through an integrated approach that considers the entire life cycle of the product. Besides the lead partner, the project involves 12 companies belonging to the RIR Venetian Smart Lighting and 2 research organisations: the University of Padua and the IUAV University of Venice. The project runs for a total of 31 months from 2 October 2024, with a grant of €1.428.004,38 against an overall budget of €2.142.183,03. Specifically, PATRIZIA VOLPATO SRL receives a total grant of €95.283,80 against a budget of €135.473.

Project: “Development and digitalisation of innovative and sustainable lighting fixtures” (LUMINA)

The LUMINA project aims to develop advanced new technological solutions for the decorative and technical lighting sector, with particular attention to:

Product design innovation
Digitalisation of light control and management systems
Environmental sustainability of materials and production processes
Energy efficiency and reduced environmental impact
The initiative aims to create intelligent lighting fixtures able to meet the challenges of today’s market, promoting a more responsible and flexible production model, integrated with digital technologies.

The project involves a broad partnership made up, in addition to Luce in Veneto as lead partner, of 12 companies belonging to the RIR Venetian Smart Lighting and two academic institutions: the IUAV University of Venice and the University of Padua. The collaborative network is composed as follows:

This multidisciplinary network will ensure the development of integrated solutions combining design, engineering, technology and sustainability, with an approach geared towards industrial research and experimental development.
