The newly born ship of Costa Crociere, launched in December 2020, will  sail in the Mediterranean Sea during the first months of 2021, immersing its 5200 passengers in the atmospheres of an enchanted Renaissance Florence, to then move in Asia, this way reaching its sister Costa Venezia, inaugurated last year and for which we had already supplied our design lighting items, taking care of such aspects of its furnishing. Costa Venezia and Costa Firenze have been the very first vessels of Costa Crociere to have been entirely designed specifically for the Asian market, more precisely for the Chinese one.
Costa Firenze, that combines an elegant style with the most modern technologies, has 2116 cabins as well as specific areas for any entertainment such as cinemas, restaurants, art galleries, theatres and casinos. Each one of these spaces encloses Florence Renaissance style, in particular the taste for beauty, represented by the art of drawing, of sculpture and of architecture.
After the success of Costa Venezia, Patrizia Volpato Srl provided also Costa Firenze with lighting items that are perfect for the furnishing style and the historical inspiration of such vessel. In fact, 52% of the lamps, that have been installed on board of this cruise ship is signed by Patrizia Volpato, for a total of actually 1758 lighting items.
The lamps dedicated to the furnishing of Costa Firenze were realized as custom-made items so as to answer the demanding design needs that give birth to a Renaissance Florence on water.
